For contractors and home service businesses

Lead generation for contractors

Tell us which jobs you want, where you work, and how much work you can take on. Lead Flow Partners helps build a pipeline of inquiries around those criteria so your team has a clear starting point for follow-up.

Talk about your pipeline

What we agree on before building your pipeline

Services and job types
Tell us which repairs, replacements, installations, or projects you want to take on and which ones to exclude.
Service area
List the cities or ZIP codes your crews can reach. Flag areas you only serve for larger jobs.
Capacity and timing
Share how many estimates you can handle and whether you prefer urgent service calls or planned projects.

What your team gets at handoff

We agree on the details your team needs to decide whether to call and book an estimate. That can include the project type, location, timing, and available contact details. Your team follows up, confirms the scope, and handles the estimate.

Example: An HVAC company wants replacement inquiries in three ZIP codes. A homeowner looking to replace a unit in one of those ZIP codes fits the initial criteria. An out-of-area repair request falls outside that scope.

What a good lead looks like by trade

The right questions depend on the job. These examples show what to agree on before your team starts following up.

Roofing leads

Decide whether you want leak repairs, inspections, or full replacements. Ask whether the roof is actively leaking and whether the customer wants a repair or a replacement estimate. Flag roofing materials or building types your crew does not service.

HVAC leads

Separate urgent no-heat or no-cool calls from planned replacements and maintenance. Ask what type of system the customer has, whether it still runs, and when they need someone out. Match the inquiry to the crews and appointment windows you have available.

Plumbing leads

Sort active leaks and backups from scheduled work such as water heater replacements or repipes. Ask which fixture or system is affected and whether the issue is ongoing. Route urgent requests according to your team’s dispatch process.

Remodeling leads

Ask which rooms are involved, what the customer wants to change, and when they hope to start. Find out whether they are gathering ideas or ready to discuss scope and an estimate. That helps your team choose between a discovery call and a site visit.

Landscaping leads

Distinguish recurring maintenance from projects such as planting, drainage, or hardscaping. Ask how the customer uses the space and what outcome they want, then check whether the project fits your services and schedule.

Common questions

Which trades can use this service?

We work with multiple trades, including roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, and landscaping. The criteria depend on the work you want and where your team can take it on.

Is a qualified inquiry a booked estimate?

A qualified inquiry matches the criteria we agreed on. An estimate is booked when your team and the customer agree on a time. Tracking those stages separately helps you see where follow-up can improve.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

Bring your service area, two or three job types you want more of, and an idea of how many estimates you can handle. If you track which inquiries become jobs, bring that information too.

How will we handle inquiries outside my service area?

Agree on eligible ZIP codes and excluded job types before starting. If an inquiry misses those criteria, record why so you can review the pattern with us and adjust the pipeline.

What should I confirm before buying leads?

Confirm what counts as a qualified inquiry, who can receive it, how duplicates or invalid contacts are handled, and whether delivery can be adjusted as your crew capacity changes. Our lead buyer’s guide includes questions to bring to that conversation.
